Schools, colleges, teachers and entire classes are invited to join this free live introduction to the world of professional aviation. During the session, students will explore what becoming and working as a professional pilot involves, while seeing how subjects they already study at school connect directly with aviation.

​

During the webinar we'll explore:

  • What life as a professional pilot is really like

  • Different careers available within professional aviation

  • The routes students can take towards becoming a pilot

  • Current airline-funded and self-funded training pathways

  • The qualifications and subjects aspiring pilots should consider

  • How GCSE and A-Level Maths & Physics are used in aviation

  • Real examples of the calculations and scientific principles pilots encounter

  • What students can start doing now to prepare for an aviation career

 

The main presentation lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute live Q&A where students and teachers can ask their questions.

Who can attend?

This session is designed for secondary schools, sixth forms and colleges.

Teachers can join individually or display the webinar to an entire class, STEM group or careers session.

 

There is no charge to participate. All you need is the ability to join a Google Meets  video call using the link we send, display Sam on a large screen that has sound.

This free webinar provides teachers, Careers Leads, STEM coordinators and education professionals with a practical introduction to the current pathway into professional aviation.
